PHENOLIC

Phenolic Insulation is a closed-cell rigid phenolic foam insulation for fabrication of pipe insulation, curved segments, sheets, tank and vessel insulation, and other shapes for a variety of thermal insulation applications. It has a very low thermal conductivity and exceptionally low flammability.

These properties make Phenolic Insulation the ideal material for use as pipe insulation on chilled water lines operating in the air plenums of commercial buildings where flammability is the greatest concern but energy efficiency is still important and governed by codes.

Phenolic foam’s flame spread/smoke of ≤25/50 makes it ideal for use in applications where pipe insulation is installed in air plenums of commercial buildings
